What better way to kick off the Derby spirit than by joining us on April 19, 2026 at 1 pm for the 3rd Annual Kentucky Derby Festival Afternoon Tea. This unique dining experience will take place at the historic Brown Hotel, 335 W. Broadway, Louisville, Ky. 40202.
This is an "official" 2026 Kentucky Derby Festival event.
Guests will be seated in the magnificent Crystal Ballroom and treated to an English afternoon tea experience served on carefully curated vintage china settings and collectable Kentucky Derby glassware. Sterling silver tea pots and three-tiered trays provide a unique and unforgettable dining experience with a Derby twist. Our menu will include traditional tea sandwiches, savory bites and sweets and a specially crafted "trifecta" of hot and cold teas. Not sure about the etiquette of afternoon tea? No, problem.... there will be a quick and fun introduction into the history and etiquette provided by Mrs. Lisa Board of Elegant Life.
Derby attire, hats and fascinators are highly encouraged to be worn. No jeans, please.
*Guests will be seated together to fill tables of 8. All tickets purchased on the same order will be seated together. If you would like to be seated with others who purchased tickets on a different order, please contact kimberlyhinkel@yahoo.com or (502) 381-9023. We will do our best to have you seated together.
Valet parking is available on site for an additional fee. There is also a parking garage conveniently located and metered street parking.
